The Sawyer family's very Lucky Dip®

Descriptor: We first see various shots of a big house, a bridge and water surrounding the house, before seeing various shots of the winning family holding a large National Lottery cheque, as the man sprays champagne, before a shot of the photographers. We then see the family at the press conference.

Father: Because on a Wednesday I, I, we always buy Lucky Dips®, I, ah, obviously none of the numbers meant anything to me so I, I looked. I seen two numbers, then there was a twenty six, which I wasn't sure if it was a twenty six or a twenty eight, because my eyes don't focus quite that well first thing in the morning. Ah, but looked at the end and there was a forty nine. Ah, I thought, oh well that's ten pounds, so I went over to the window and found that it was a twenty six which I'd got on the, the ticket, and then went back and then realised that all six numbers were there. Em, I, I actually felt good about it.

Daughter: I honestly thought he'd done something and was doing one of his, well he's well known in the family for practical jokes, and I thought it was one of his practical jokes again. And it took me ages, and mum came into the lounge and I said, "Is this real?" I just could not believe it was real.

Mother: Nothing ever like this has happened to us, we've won the odd ten pounds, like everyone, but to actually think that we've got all this money, em, it's just unbelievable.

Descriptor: We now see the father at the press conference again. As he speaks, we see the family in a BMW.

Father: I'm having, er, a BMW, yeah, yeah. I've worked with or, er, was involved with BMW cars for many years so, erm, I'll now be able to afford one.
