Descriptor: First we pan across from a bank of photographers, to Nigel Page and Justine Laycock sitting on large throne-like chairs, with a large National Lottery cheque on their knees and glasses of champagne in their hands. We then see a clip of the EuroMillions television show, as the winning numbers come up on the screen. We then see them standing together in front of a board of National Lottery logos, having their photos taken.

Narrator: A self confessed white van man and his estate agent partner have been named the winners of Britain's biggest ever lottery jackpot payout. Nigel page and his partner Justine Laycock, from Cirencester in Gloucestershire won £56 million in Friday's EuroMillions draw. They told us how they found out about their win and how it made them feel.

Descriptor: We now see Nigel and Justine sitting together on chairs, talking to the camera. As Nigel speaks, we see the couple walking down a path, before once again going back to them both sitting on chairs.

Nigel: Um, it was, um, it was Saturday morning, ah, me and my daughter were sat at the, ah, dining room table, having our breakfast and we had the, ah, the news on. And it mentioned it on there that two people had won, one person in Spain, one person in, ah, Britain, so I said to my daughter, "We'd better go and check out our numbers, you never know, we might have won." So, ah, so anyway, we finished off our breakfast and, um, pottered into the other room. We put the laptop on, logged on to the, um, my account with the National Lottery and it popped up on the screen straight away, “Congratulations, you have won £56 million.” We were bemused for quite a while actually.

Justine: I know, we were until, um, the lady from Camelot, when we met the lady from Camelot and she actually said it, it came out of her lips, didn't it? And we were like “Oh my god, this is an opportunity to help so many people and to give back to the community”, ‘cause we've got such a, a wonderful town and some wonderful people there, there's some wonderful family and friends.

Nigel: Yeah.

Justine: You know, so it is an awful lot of money, um, but we are going to spend that very, very wisely, we're not, you know, just going to go blow it.

Nigel: No, we're not like that anyway, are we?

Justine: No.

Nigel: We're down to earth, aren't we?

Justine: Exactly.

Descriptor: Once again we see a close up of Nigel and Justine on throne-like chairs, with glasses of champagne, having their photos taken, before once again going back to them being interviewed.

Narrator: So what do Britain's largest lottery winners plan to spend their money on?

Nigel: Well we're going to, ah, think about getting a, a new house.

Justine: A new house. And then a new car for yourself.

Nigel: Yeah maybe, ah, I'll get myself a new car, because I haven't had a car for, to myself for, what, ten years, ‘cause I'm a white van man.

Descriptor: We now see Nigel and Justine spraying champagne from a bottle, as they are photographed, before once again going back to them being interviewed.

Narrator: And Nigel, a sky diving enthusiast, has some more unusual plans.

Nigel: I've always said to my friends actually, who I sky dive with, you know, if I ever win the lottery, I'm going to build a wind tunnel and the, ah, so yeah, I'm, ah.

Justine: You've had a few texts.

Nigel: I'd like to, I'd like to do that.

Descriptor: We now focus in on the large National Lottery cheque, then pull up to see Nigel and Justine raise their glasses.

Narrator: And with fifty six million pounds to spend, how did Nigel treat his partner on the valentine's weekend?

Descriptor: Once again we see Nigel and Justine being interviewed.

Nigel: Well I, I'd planned on actually going out on the Saturday morning while she was still in bed and, ah, getting her, you know, some flowers and chocolates and a card. But you know, what with, ah, one thing and another, we, I never really got round to doing it, did I?

Justine: No, you would have been shaking far too much to get your wallet out your pocket anyway.

Descriptor: We now see a wide shot of Nigel, with Justine sitting on his knee, on a throne-like seat, with the large National Lottery cheque at their feet, before, for the final time, seeing them being interviewed.

Narrator: And after eight years together, do they plan to finally tie the knot?

Justine: We've, we've always been very happy the way we are, haven't we?

Nigel: Yeah. We've never really felt the need, have we?

Justine: No.

Nigel: ‘Cause like I say, we're, we're a very happy family.

Justine: Exactly. Maybe one day, maybe not.

Nigel: We'll see.
