Descriptor: First we meet a Vicky Radcliffe who works for Camelot. Vicky describes what is happening.
Woman: We're here at a press conference in Doncaster with three winners that are part of a syndicate. Their name is the Holmes Syndicate, um, and they won from the 23rd of October draw, and they're the lucky winners of 6.7 million pounds.
Descriptor: We then see the three members of the winning syndicate being photographed, holding an oversized National Lottery cheque, with glasses of champagne, before we see them walking to the press conference, and finally, seated at a table taking questions.
Vicky: So Mark, as the syndicate leader, how did you find out that you'd won?
Mark Holmes: Em, it was on Saturday night, em, me and my partner Holly was watching X Factor, em, and then half way through I heard the phone ringing at the end of the sofa, and I picked up the phone and it was my brother, and he said, em, "I think we might have won the lottery." So, I was just in complete and utter shock.
Descriptor: Once again we see the three syndicate winners with the oversized National Lottery cheque having their photo taken, before going back to the press conference.
Ian Holmes: Yeah, I were just numb really, I shouted my wife down to, ah, check them for me, and I rang my brother, rang my dad, and it's just been a blur really ever since.
Descriptor: We now see the three syndicate winners having their photos taken holding champagne glasses, before once again going back to the press conference.
Mark Holmes: We'd just gone to a craft fair, em, and there was a fortune teller there. The fortune teller said that we need to beware the number seven, it's going to be lucky for us. And we didn't think anything, you just think, oh, number seven, so we'll just, we'll think about the number seven. And we used to often buy the, the Lucky 7 Scratchcard thinking well maybe that, that was something, but nothing happened. And then it was only on the Sunday, after the Saturday, that we looked on the lottery website again and it was set of balls number seven, so it was, whether it's coincidence or not, I don't know, it, it just, it just seems a bit funny.
Descriptor: For the final time we see the three syndicate winners having their photos taken spraying a bottle of champagne from a bridge.
