Descriptor: First we see wide exterior shots of a large house, before moving on to shots of Annette Brown receiving her National Lottery cheque, and having her photo taken with a large 2,500 sign, and champagne. We then meet Vicky Radcliffe, who works for Camelot. As Vicky speaks, we see a caption in the top left hand corner which reads, "Saturday 16th October 2010" together with further shots of Annette being photographed.
Vicky Radcliffe: Well today's press conference was brought together to announce our 2,500th millionaire. So we've been going since 1994, and this is, ah, a massive landmark for us, em, and a great big achievement that we've reached this far. And we announced the millionaire today, so her name is Annette Brown, em, and she's come forward to take publicity.
Descriptor: We now see Annette at the press conference. As she speaks, we see further shots of her being photographed.
Annette Brown: Well it's, it just hit me this morning and I thought my God (laughs), is it real, is it, I keep thinking I'm dreaming, I really do. I used to do certain numbers all, all the same, and then one day I just lost the wallet with the things in it and I thought oh just get a Lucky Dip. That one happened to be the one with the six numbers. I would like to go back to Canada for a holiday to visit relatives, so I'll probably do that. I didn't mind people knowing, because I thought well, at least people know that it can be done, everyday people get it, you know, it's not just a name, that people know me. And everybody's been so nice, all the neighbours and everybody's phoned up and said well done.
