The Campbells win the ultimate Christmas present

Presenter: We’re here today with one of the lucky winners from our EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw which created 25 millionaires here in the UK on Christmas Eve, it’s James and Angela Campbell who found out they were millionaires on Christmas Day morning.

Descriptor: We now see James and Angela Campbell walking through gardens holding hands. Then we see James and Angela talking with The National Lottery EuroMillions background.

James: At first, I didn’t think we’d won, I thought if I bought another line, we’d have won it but I was just reading it wrong and then read it again, Angela had to check it and was checking it all day then.

Angela: I was on the phone to my sister and she was like “what’s the matter?”, I was going “we’ve won, we’ve won, we’ve won”, she’s like “you’ve won what?”, I was going “we’ve won on the raffle on the EuroMillions”. She’s going “shut up, you haven’t”, I was going “no honestly James, haven’t we won? Haven’t we won?”. He’s like “I don’t know, let me check it again” and then he checked it again, he was like “Angela, we have, we’ve won” and I had to get to church at 10.00, I was like “James, you’re going to have to drop them off at church with the kids” so I turned up at church sitting there like that, like thinking oh thank you, I’m a millionaire.

James: The main thing we want out of it is just a house, we’re not even, like obviously we’ll be able to go on holiday using, we won’t have to think of planning how much we can put away or we’d like, we can just like go on a holiday. But it’s just more, we wanna get a house and try and keep money for the kids for when they’re older.

James: For about four or five months we’ve been doing it, we just picked and, I think it was like a big rollover one week so we picked like all lines like birthdays, months and like even dogs ages and things like that, just to fill it out with numbers we could like recognise and then we ended up getting like a Fast Pay ticket and we’ve done it ever since and it’s just been looking at them and not even getting two numbers on the same line, not anyway close and then you win a million pounds, it’s unbelievable.
