Descriptor: First we see graphical shots of Kate Edmondson, before seeing animated captions which read, “MEET THE LATEST ADDITION TO LOTTERY HQ”, “KATE EDMONDSON”, and “DO YOU HAVE A LUCKY NUMBER?”. We then see a close-up shot of Kate being interviewed.

Kate Edmondson: I do sort of have a lucky number, it’s thirty-three, and I basically worked out that if you add every number from my birth date up it equals thirty-three, and it’s even luckier because my boyfriend’s is the same.

Descriptor: Once again we see graphical shots of Kate Edmondson, before seeing an animated caption which reads, “WHAT’S THE LUCKIEST THING THAT’S HAPPENED TO YOU?”. We then see Kate being interviewed again.

Kate Edmondson: It was probably winning a competition in the Garfield magazine when I was about twelve, I was so lucky I won the first prize, even though I wanted the runner-up prize, which was a Garfield t-shirt. The first prize that I actually won was a pair of, em, lens, lensless spectacles, which I didn’t even bother claiming because, like, who wants those?

Descriptor: Again we see graphical shots of Kate Edmondson, before seeing an animated caption which reads, “DO YOU HAVE ANY LUCKY PRE-SHOW RITUALS?”, before once again seeing Kate being interviewed.

Kate Edmondson: I, em, insist on singing Humpty Dumpty three times before I go on set, if I don’t finish that, then it’s really not going to happen... Only joking!

Descriptor: Again we see graphical shots of Kate Edmondson, before seeing an animated caption which reads, “HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE OUR NEWEST PRESENTER?”. Again we see Kate being interviewed.

Kate Edmondson: To be the new girl on the block, em, it feels, yeah, it’s really exciting, but also very nerve wracking as well. I think in my first show, um, I thought that I was visibly shaking, and then when I watched it back, it was fine!

Descriptor: Again we see graphical shots of Kate Edmondson, before seeing an animated caption which reads, “WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE FOR FUTURE LOTTERY PRESENTERS?”. For the final time, we see Kate being interviewed.

Kate Edmondson: My advice for the next presenter would be to not be too good, because I still want to keep my job...  Yeah.
