Descriptor: We first see various shots of a Ivan and Sue being photographed, holding an oversized National Lottery cheque, showing champagne from a bottle, kissing for the camera. We then see the couple at a press conference.
Sue: I went to the local gym, ah, then went see me husband, Ivan at work, ah, just did a little bit of typing and then went to, ah, Tesco's supermarket, the local. And, um, then I found out. In shock, em, the young assistant, he was very good, ah, who took my ticket and, ah, he says, "I think you'd better phone the Post Office." And I said, "Oh, okay." And he says, "Oh, there's something wrong here." And I says, "Oh, has the machine broke?" you know, things like that. And, em, but anyway, the manager, manageress just says, "Would you like to come down here?" and, ah, she says, "I think you've won a little bit more than you think you have, em, I think you'd better phone Camelot." So I just went to pieces, as you do. Ah, went to the car park, you know, and the young lad, he must have s, followed me, he said, "I'm seeing you to your car." And I says, "Would you do me a favour? Would you ring my husband, he's at work?" And, em, and that's when he rang you.
Ivan: Yeah, then he, he, he, he rang me and I first thought, "Oh, it's so and so from Tesco's in the car park," I thought, she's crashed the car or done some damage.
Sue: As you do.
Ivan: "No, no," he said, "I think you've won the lottery." "No, you're winding me up here, you're winding me up."
Sue: Ah, went we saw our local, a pub, and, em, he says, "Let's go in for a drink to celebrate," I hadn't go my purse, I hadn't got anything.
Ivan: Didn't have a penny for drinks, so that kicked us into touch, wouldn't it?
Sue: Yeah, then you went back to work.
Ivan: I went back to work, yeah.
Sue: As you do, and I, I went home and we didn't tell anybody.
Man: When did you find out exactly how much you won and what was your reaction?
Ivan: £7.7, what's that? I mean what is, what's £7.7? You know, it's sort of when you think, well if we spend a million, we've got £6.7 left, and, and, you know, it just, I don't know, you know, it's, ah.
Man: So was it, was it when you phoned up and they said?
Sue: Yeah, I phoned up and I says, "Could you just tell me how much we've won." And I says, "Here you are Ivan."
Ivan: When I looked at it, it said 7,7,7,7, I said well, Sue said, "Is that £77,000, or is it £77,000?" I says, "Hang on a minute, one, two, three, four, five, that's seven, that's seven million, you know."
Ivan: We're going on a Sun holiday in, in September.
Man: A Sun holiday?
Ivan: A Sun holiday, one of these £9.50 deals (laughs).
Sue: To be fair, we had it booked already, yes.
Ivan: Oh we had it booked already, yeah, yeah, we just.
Man: £9.50?
Ivan: Yeah, you know the, on the Sun they had this £9.50 thing, didn't they? So, so, so we, we're doing that.
Man: Is that the one where you collect the tokens?
Ivan: Yeah, it is, yeah.
Sue: Yes, that's right.
Ivan: Yeah, cos that's the only place we can take the dog.
