Descriptor: First we see a purple screen, where a caption reads, "The National Lottery Good Causes". We then see several shots of cyclists in full-face helmets preparing to race at a BMX track, and spectators watching them. A holding gate drops and the cyclists race as we hear National Lottery presenter OJ Borg speak in a voice-over.

OJ Borg: Last year a £1 million National Lottery grant meant that work could begin on Cyclopark here in Gravesend, Kent. It's one of the biggest cycle parks in Europe and today, locals get their first look as our best BMX riders compete in the Southern regional championships.

Descriptor: As OJ speaks, we see more shots of the cyclists racing, jumping over hills on the track. We see a trophy of a gold cyclist, as the race passes by in the background. We now see OJ talking to camera. He is wearing a bike helmet and as he speaks, the camera pulls back to show he is sat on a bike.

OJ Borg: Well I'm not just here as a spectator, no no no no! I've also got some good news to deliver. [Rides away on bike] Oh, it's a high gear alright!

Descriptor: We now see more cyclists lined up for another race. We see a set of starting lights turn green before the cyclists race away. We see more shots of racing cyclists, along with many shots of children in full-face helmets and on bikes.

OJ Borg: While the best of the best are competing today, the Cyclopark is not just for professional riders. The aim is that one day they can give anyone who wants to try BMX, road cycling or mountain biking the chance to have a go.

Descriptor: As OJ speaks, we see children practising riding on a smaller BMX track. We now meet Martin Baxter of Club Cyclopark, who is speaking to OJ. As he speaks, we see more shots of children practising on the track.

Martin: People can come down here with their kids, put themselves into a practice session, We'll have bikes and equipment here that they can use, Em, we'll have coaches on site. We're really fortunate to have a little pump track here, it's called, em, where kids can come down, try this, try BMX, see if they like it, and hopefully bring on the next Olympic champions.

As Martin is speaking, we see a toddler sat on a toy bike. A man is pushing the bike by holding the handlebars and running alongside. We see a fast sequence of several cyclists clearing a jump. We hear OJ in a voice-over.

OJ Borg: And there is no shortage of people dying to get on the track. Next up is eleven-year-old Tyler.

Descriptor: We now see Tyler at the start ramp, as a coach speaks.

Coach: Right ready Tyler, off you go, fast pedal, fast pedal...

We now see OJ interviewing Jarrod, who is Tyler's father. We see more cyclists riding the course.

OJ Borg: So what's Tyler's feelings when he first came down here today, was it excitement?

Jarrod: Absolute excitement, got out of bed this morning, saw the sun was up, he's been waiting for this for months to open, it's his world.

Descriptor: We now hear an interview in voice-over between OJ and a young girl, who can be seen riding the course.

OJ Borg: So what's your name?

Charlotte: Charlotte.

We see OJ and Charlotte on-screen. A caption introduces Charlotte and says she is eight years old.

OJ Borg: Charlotte. Right, is this the first time you've been BMXing?

Charlotte: Yes.

OJ Borg: What do you think of it?

Charlotte: Love it. A lot of fun.

OJ Borg: A lot of fun, and do you think you'll do this again after today?

Charlotte: Yes.

We see another child ride the course, before returning to OJ and Charlotte. They are both sat on bikes and OJ is wearing a British team cycling jersey.

OJ Borg: Right, I need you to give me a crash course in how to do this.

Charlotte: Well... along the bumps, arms... out, in, out, in. [She shows OJ how to move his arms over the jumps, and he copies her.] Around the berm, try and get as far up to the top as you can.

Descriptor: We now see OJ in close-up wearing a BMX helmet.

OJ Borg: OK, here goes nothing!

Descriptor: We now see OJ ride down the start ramp and around the course. When he finishes, he shouts and a small crowd cheers. Charlotte is waiting at the finish. OJ takes off his helmet.

OJ Borg: Ah! So Charlotte, how did I do?

Charlotte: Excellent!

OJ Borg: Thank you very much! [They bump fists.] I think I can make it to the Olympic team... woo!

Descriptor: More shots of a race start on the full track, with spectators watching. We also see shots of young cyclists in team colours, waiting for their races. We hear OJ speak in a voice-over.

OJ Borg: Eventually, Club Cyclopark plans to offer specialist equipment to anyone who wants to get involved, and hopefully today, we can help them get a step closer to their goal.

Descriptor: We now see OJ talking again to Martin, this time on a microphone on the track.

OJ Borg: It's been great today, hasn't it Martin?

Martin: Yeah it has, yeah, it's great, its, em, great to see the culmination of, em, big plans.

OJ Borg: Well, it gives me a great pleasure to give you a surprise today, because on behalf of the National Lottery, and Sport England, we have a cheque for you for ten thousand pounds!

Descriptor: OJ hands Martin a large cheque. We see spectators and cyclists cheering. We then return to OJ and Martin on the track.

Martin: Oh, wow! Well, that's, em, that's fantastic! Give us a chance to get the community on bikes, on cycle parks, and em, yeah, really happy, thank you, that's a great surprise.

Descriptor: Finally, we see more shots of spectators and cyclists cheering.
