John and Susan Denston from Humberside still can't believe their good luck in winning £3.3 million on EuroMillions.
Descriptor: First we see Susan Denston walking across a lawn. She is accompanied by a Camelot representative holding an over-sized cheque. Several photographers and cameramen are taking pictures. We see the cheque in front of a car. A close-up on the cheque reveals that John and Susan Denston have won £3,314,251.30. The licence plate on the car reads, "WINNER". We then see John and Susan at a National Lottery press conference.
John Denston: I saw the numbers and I was checking the numbers on my ticket, which was a lucky dip. I just couldn't believe it, I just sat there, er, Susan had gone upstairs to bed. She came down and checked it, and, er, she got on her knees in front of me, she said, "I can't believe what you've just won."
Descriptor: We now see John and Susan in front of the car. They are holding glasses of champagne. They kiss as a photographer takes a picture.
John Denston: It's still not there, it still hasn't sunk in properly yet. I suppose in time we'll get there.
We now see John giving an interview to a reporter, and Susan stands with him. The microphone reads, "BBC RADIO HUMBERSIDE".
John Denston: 3.3 million.
Descriptor: We continue to see shots of John and Susan with the reporter, before cutting back to the press conference.
Interviewer: John, it's always a good time to win 3.3 million, but is this particularly good, because I see you, you were made redundant, and Susan you've had some health issues?
Susan Denston: It's come at a very good time, yes.
John Denston: Yeah, it has.
Susan Denston: It's not just for us, it's for the family as well, it will help a lot of people, make a lot of people happy.
Descriptor: We now see a shot of John spraying a bottle of champagne, as Susan stands with a glass of champagne. We then return to the press conference. The couple are laughing and joking as they answer questions.
Interviewer: Jon, what are you going to buy Susan then?
John Denston: What would you like?
Susan Denston: A little caravan!
John Denston: There you are, from the horse's mouth!
Susan Denston: What would you like?
John Denston: A BMW X5!
Susan Denston: There you are!
Descriptor: We see further shots of John and Susan with the car and cheque, drinking champagne and kissing as photographers continue to take pictures. We then see a close-up of John talking to camera.
John Denston: I buy a ticket every week, and I buy lucky dips. It started off with two lines on the Euro, then I started buying four when the jackpot started rolling, but for some reason on Friday I bought five, I bought five lucky dips, and it was the last lucky dip that came up.
Descriptor: We see a close-up of two champagne glasses, bearing the National Lottery logo, before we return to the press conference. John and Susan share a kiss.
Susan Denston: Oh, I love you!
John Denston: A lot more now, than it was!
Susan Denston: Oh, no!
The final shot, of John and Susan embracing, is in black and white.
