Description: First we see the National Lottery logo, which fades into a succession of clips from Good Causes projects around the country. We see several shots of oversized cheques being presented, and of people cheering. We hear Alan Dedicoat speaking in a voice-over.
Alan Dedicoat: National Lottery players raise over £30 million for good causes every week, helping to support projects, large and small, all over the UK. Whether it's arts, sports, heritage, charity and voluntary, education, health, environment... there's something for everyone.
Description: We now see shots through the window of a moving vehicle as it travels along roads. The shot changes from black and white to colour. Alan is still speaking.
Alan Dedicoat: And this week, in honour of the difference that you're making, we'll be taking to the road to visit some of these projects.
Description: We now see a fast cut to a model of a van.
Alan Dedicoat: In a campervan.
Description: We now see shots of two people being filmed. A marker-board snaps shut in front of one of them. It is difficult to see the faces of the two people being filmed.
Alan Dedicoat: ...with two very special National Lottery Good Causes ambassadors.
Description: We now see a fast montage introducing Sara Cox. She turns to face the camera in front of a star made of lights, as on on-screen caption introduces her. The image continues to switch between colour and black and white.
Alan Dedicoat: Sara Cox!
Description: We now see a fast montage introducing Rufus Hound. He walks up to a road sign which reads, "Road Closed", and kicks the sign over, before turning to face the camera. He is introduced by an on-screen caption. The image continues to switch between colour and black and white.
Alan Dedicoat: And Rufus Hound!
Description: We now see Sara sat on a scooter and looking at the camera, before cutting to a shot of her speaking in an interview. She is sat in front of two illuminated letters bearing the initials, "SC".
Sara Cox: I'll do the majority of the driving. I'll let Rufus have a go, you know, maybe around one of the car parks maybe, if we stop off for a pasty.
Description: We now see Rufus speaking from a large leather armchair. He is sat in front of a large illuminated sign that reads, "Me".
Rufus Hound: At each location there's going to be a different task for us to complete, and... I could've spent a lot of time at the gym, could've gone on a diet. Fortunately I'm competing against Sara Cox... so frankly, I've done nothing.
Description: We now return to Sara, who is speaking to the camera.
Sara: I'm really excited about hitting the road, because I had absolutely no idea that National Lottery funding helped so many Good Causes and did so much stuff.
Description: We now return to Rufus Hound, who is speaking to camera.
Rufus: National Lottery players raise thirty million quid each week for Good Causes? [He whistles loudly.]
Description: We now see the National Lottery Facebook page on a monitor on-screen. We then see more shots from a moving vehicle, including a shot of a satellite-navigation system, before seeing a shot of the Cox And Hound Hit The Road app. Alan is speaking in a voice-over. As he speaks, we see Rufus and Sara pretend to fight.
Alan Dedicoat: you, the Facebook user, will get to decide which Good Cause our intrepid explorers visit each day. For more details on how to cast your vote, visit our special "Cox and Hound Hit The Road" app, where we'll be keeping you bang up to date with videos and news from the journey as it takes place.
Description: We now return to Sara as she speaks to the camera. As she speaks, we cut away to see a black and white shot of Sara and Rufus trying to make sense of a map.
Sara: My mother says, I've got a tongue in my mouth, so if you need help, stop and ask directions. I know men don't like that, em, but I'd rather do that than find myself somewhere wedged in a slurry pit.
Description: We see the Facebook page for Cox and Hound one last time, before returning to a colour shot of Sara and Rufus fighting over the map. They throw the map away and scowl at each other, before walking away in different directions. Alan is speaking in a voice-over.
Alan Dedicoat: So be sure to keep checking the Facebook page, and if you see them, do give them your support. They could appear in a town or city near you. That's, unless they get lost...
Description: As Alan speaks the last few words of the voice-over, Rufus and Sara cross each other again on-screen, changing directions.
