Il Divo: Hi, we’re Il Divo, and [singing in harmony] we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!

Descriptor: We now see a black screen with a green caption which reads, “Il Divo Backstage: What’s your lucky number and why?” before once again seeing them sitting on the sofas. The image alternates between colour and black and white.

Sébastien: Thirteen, seven and twenty.

David: Thirteen is your lucky number?

Sébastien: Yeah.

Carlos: Why? This is my birthdate.

Sébastien: Thirteen is, yeah, but, but my wife is born on the 13th of December.

Carlos: Also?

Sébastien: Yeah.

Carlos: She’s Sagittarian.

Sébastien: Maybe we married, you and I. [Carlos laughs.]

Urs: I became part of Il Divo, and everything came from there, you know, I met my partner, being in Il Divo, I’ve seen the world being in Il Divo, I’ve stood on the world’s stages being in Il Divo, and everything, yeah, I consider myself a very lucky person.

Carlos: We’re a really normal band I, I think, we don’t do anything strange like, like special praying.

Sébastien:  Really?

Carlos: I, I just pray to all the women, that’s, that’s the only thing.

Urs: It’s so funny, he’s very religious. [Carlos laughs.]

David: In, in that, in that case.

Carlos: Yeah, I, no.

Urs: Il Divo was conceived here, we, we were born here, even though none of us is English. Em, this is where our roots lie. UK audiences are very, very dear to us and we’d like to say a big, big thank you to everybody for supporting us so far, and hopefully you will support us for many, many years to come.
